Dosha means three principles that govern psychological and physiological responses and pathological changes. When these doshas are out of balance, disease occurs.

Friends of Ayurveda, a 501(c)(3) non profit organization, was established to promote and raise funds for The Ganesha Ayurveda Medical Center in Pune, India.

The primary functions of the Ganesha Ayurveda Medical Center:

2. To offer year-round Ayurvedic medical services and herbal medicines to the local community that need healthcare at either low or no cost.

3. If you are in need of receiving authentic Ayurvedic care, The Ganesha Ayurveda Medical Center will be a fully equipped medical facility with clinical rooms, panchakarma rooms, guest rooms, kitchen and dining room, yoga studio for meditation, as well as gardens for a peaceful recuperation.

Dr. Vasant Lad, M.A.Sc., came from India to relieve suffering by giving Ayurvedic education and information to interested audiences around the world. Over the last twenty-five years Dr. Lad has been inspiring students that come to The Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque, New Mexico and the results have been outstanding. And now he will be able to offer more by inviting you to come to India. This Medical Center is more than a spa, it is a place for long lasting healing and to obtain an authentic ayurvedic education.
